I write one movie review every Friday. It may also go up to two or three movie reviews over the weekend. Every Friday review is usually a First Day First Show.

Movie Review - Race 2

Watched " RACE 2 " - It's another thriller from Abbas-Mastan, much better than their last venture Players. It's as exciting as the first part and the advantage moves from one court to another throughout the movie. The girls namely Bipasha, Katrina and Sameera from the earlier edition were better than the current three. Saif looks matured and classy. John is his own self beefy and aggressive. Anil has a small role. Go for it, it should be a good watch this weekend.

Movie Review - Matru ki Bijli ka Mandola

Watched " Matru ki Bijli ka Mandola " - There's just nothing new to watch except for the fresh pairing of Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma. Sadly the script does not support the actors. It's a wasted effort by the director of a calibre like Vishal Bhardwaj. The first half is so slow and boring that you might even doze off. The second half gathers some momentum but the damage is already done and anyone can guess the ending. Watch it only if you must.

Movie Review - Broken City

Watched " Broken City " - A political drama where the post of the Mayor of New York is at stake. Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones play husband and wife. Mark Wahlberg plays a central role. The plot involves a private detective, a murder and an  unscrupulous deal. It's a good script with twists and turns. The end is quite abrupt and unexpected. It makes for an exciting watch.

Movie Review - The Last Stand

Watched " The Last Stand " - Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a tough sheriff of a small lazy town. The mission is to catch a fugitive who has escaped from the FBI. Arnie looks worn out but can definitely kick ass with his small team of cops. You need to watch out for a modified car that runs faster than a helicopter and some olden style guns used during the exchange of fire. It should make for a good watch.

Movie Review - Inkaar

Watched " INKAAR " - A powerful performance by Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh. It is aptly supported by the script, screenplay and good direction by Sudhir Mishra. This movie is not for the masses and caters to the thinking viewers. The target group is multiplex audience. People who work in a free environment and are not bound by the 9 am to 6 pm work schedule would be able to relate to the subject more easily. The subject revolves around sexual harassment at work place. Those who were comparing it to Aitraaz were so wrong. The end is quite pleasant and relevant to reality.
