Movie Review - Special Chabbis

Watched " Special Chabbis " - A well executed, interesting plot based on real life fake CBI raids that took place in the 1980s and 90s on various people in India who had unaccounted wealth. One such incident was the fake CBI raid on Tribhuvandas Bhimji Zaveri, Opera House branch, Mumbai in 1987. Most of these incidents went unreported to the police. It is a pleasure to watch Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam Kher together for the first time. Kajal Aggarwal has a blink and miss role. The screenplay keeps you glued to your seat where you are left guessing the next move. It is good to see Akshay Kumar in a serious role after a long time other than performing some stunts, cracking some stupid jokes or singing songs and dancing. Something that we are used to watching. This movie carries no entertainment value and is directed by Neeraj Pandey the director of the runaway hit ' A Wednesday. It should make for a good watch this weekend.
